HOOVES & HELLOS!
INSIDE VOICE AND MASSA STABLES PRESENT
LEARN HOW TIME WITH ANIMALS CAN HELP DEVELOP YOUR CHILD’S SPEECH AND LANGUAGE SKILLS
Join Us at Massa Stables
Sunday, November 15th 10am-12pm
This group event is a 2 hour open house at the stables. It will include hands-on learning for the whole family, including SLP-approved tips and tricks to keep the learning going at home with your own pets, or on your next trip to the zoo.
Come prepared to get dirty and have lots of fun!
Explore the sights, sounds, and very authentic smells of a real working farm! Enjoy a self-guided, language-rich barnyard scavenger hunt designed by a pediatric speech-language pathologist. Through play-based learning, sensory exploration, and natural opportunities for communication, children of all ages, abilities and developmental levels can discover a whole new world at their own pace.
You’ll want to be on the lookout for some of our many farm friends, including:
Mini Highland cows
Resident cattle dogs
Cuddly barn kitties
Loppy, the famous lopsided Longhorn, and the rest of her herd
Beautiful horses
Maybe even a unicorn!!!
No two days on the farm are alike. Come see what barnyard surprises are waiting!
Space is limited, pre-registration is required. $25 for first child, additional siblings are $10 each, parents are free.
We welcome children of all abilities! The barn is wheelchair navigable and this event is designed for everyone to enjoy. Please contact us with any accessibility questions so we can help plan your visit.
